Hi Tee Em. Thank you for your note. I didn't know how courageous it was to write "The Other Side of Karen" until I got all of the negative feedback--though I did get some postive feedback, too, like yours. I WAS really angry when I saw the way "Karen/Susan" was portrayed in the media. I had to speak my truth. But in the process, I have learned a lot about White fragility also, especially from my adult daughter (who grew up here in Montclair) and from my close friend, who has lived here for most of her 60ish years. I think we have to advance the conversation in the moment. Thank you again.
